ORIENTATION COURSE

MediaKids provides a bi-annual orientation course for all of our teachers prior to their placement in the schools.  Our course is scheduled in May for the 1st Semester and October for the second semester to take place in Bangkok.  Attendance is expected for all new teachers.

– Course is free of charge for all new teachers.

– MediaKids provides twin shared room during the orientation course with free breakfast included (Private room available on request for an additional charge.)

– MediaKids provides coffee, tea, snacks throughout the course (teachers are responsible for lunch and dinner)

Course includes:

• Thai language

• Thai culture

• Thai food and how to order

• Thai school system

• Curriculum and planning

• Class management and teaching tips

• Visa & work permit regulations

Teachers will:

• Meet their consultants and other MediaKids staff

• Meet fellow foreign teachers

• Meet Thai teachers from schools

• Sign contracts and documents for visa and work permit

• Receive curriculum and teaching templates

Placement

Our schools are found in the North, Central and Northeastern areas of Thailand. Locations vary from cities to small-towns. Where you are placed depends on a number of circumstances like the program, level you are best suited for the schools’ requirements. 

MediaKids Academy offers a unique opportunity to work in rural communities of Thailand. Our aim is to reach out to those who are not often able to experience the English language.
